Sea Scallops


What you’ll need:

1 lb sea scallops halved horizontally

2 Tbsp butter

1 shallot chopped finely

1 clove garlic chopped finely

1 Tsp sea salt

1 Tbsp all purpose flour

1 Tbsp white wine or sake (I used sake)

1/2 lemon (juice)

Parsley (optional for garnish)

What you’ll do:

Heat butter over high

Mix scallops, flour and salt together until all scallops are lightly coated

Place in skillet and reduce heat to medium

Cook 1-2 minutes

Add shallots and garlic

Flip scallops

Cook an additional 1-2 minutes

Add sake or wine

Cook 1 minute

Remove from pan, cover with sauce from pan

Squeeze lemon and garnish with dried or fresh parsley if wanted
