Some of my favorite ornaments this year 🎅🤗
I made the rotisserie chicken sliders today on @goodthingsutah 🤗🤗 Ingredient List: 6 whole wheat rolls Tart cherry jam 3 slices smoked Gouda cheese 1/2 rotisserie chicken 3 dill pickle spears sliced 1 C arugula 1 TBSP red wine vinegar 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil Spicy mustard Method: Preheat oven to low broil Toss arugula with vinegar and olive oil, set aside On baking sheet half the rolls One one side of each roll spread cherry jam Place 1/2 piece of sliced Gouda on top of jam Broil for 2-3 minutes until bread is toasted and cheese is melting Top with chicken, slices of pickle, arugula and spicy mustard Enjoy!!
I made this corn salad on @goodthingsutah today. Great base to add any garden veggies you have right now. I have a lot of tomatoes so I added those, cucumbers, peas and zucchini would be great additions too 🤗🤗. 4 ears corn roasted 5 limes (juice) 2 avacados chopped 1/2 C pistachios roasted 1 c cilantro chopped 1 c basil chopped 2 tsp sea salt 5-10 tomatoes 1 bunch asparagus cooked + chopped 1/2 C feta crumbles
I got the prettiest jalapeño-banana pepper bread at the @wheelerhistoricfarm farmers market today. I brushed it with olive oil + added fresh mozzarella and broiled until cheese was bubbling, then topped with tomatoes from my garden 🥰, basil, sea salt + balsamic glaze. Perfect summer treat 🍅❤️
Sometimes I like to be fancy 💁‍♀️ Braised lamb shoulder on puréed minty peas. I garnished it with pea tendrils from the garden (or maybe morning glory, they’re currently inseparable) and some lavender blossoms. I put the process in my stories
